Description:
CLAIS is a powder product belonging to the Aluminium and Sodium sulpho-silicate family combined with crystalline particles. It is resistant to alkalis and UV rays designed for colouring mortars and concrete by adding it to the mix. The addition of CLAIS does not reduce the specific resistance of the mortar or concrete.
Application:
- CLAIS is added to the mixing water followed by cement and sand.
- The recommended doses are: with grey cement the proportion is 3-12% in terms of cement weight whereas with white cement the proportion is 1-3% also
according to cement weight.
- It is recommended to test a sample so as to determine the coloration and ensure that the desired colour is obtained.
- It is advisable not to exceed 15% the weight of cement.
- In the final coloration, the sand colour, cement colour, etc must match. It is recommended to test a sample prior to each required dosage of the product.
